World Marrow Donor Day 2015

The Ministry of Health, together with the Registry of Voluntary Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donors in Romania (RNDVCSH), invites you to the press conference marking the first national event dedicated to the World Marrow Donor Day. This is the first time in the world that this day is celebrated and thanks are given to all 25 million voluntary donors around the world, who through their gesture have saved lives.
The event will take place on Monday, September 21, 2015, at 10 am, at the Novotel Hotel, Paris Droite room (Calea Victoriei 37 B, sector 1) in Bucharest in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Nicolae Bănicioiu and the Secretary of State, Prof. Dr. Dorel Săndesc, the President of the Scientific Council of RNDVCSH, Prof. Dr. Dan Coliță and the General Director of RNDVCSH, Dr. Aurora Dragomirișteanu.
After the event, we are waiting for you in University Square in Bucharest, where, as part of the “Donate a chance at life!” caravan, a mobile collection center will be set up for people aged between 18 and 45 who want to register as potential donors, and where a dedicated area will be set up where messages of thanks can be left to donors who continue to give life.
