The campaign to promote hematopoietic stem cell donation ” Donate a chance at life ! “

As of today, September 19, 2014, for ten days, mobile donation center, medical teams and volunteers will be present in large parks in Bucharest. The series of events is part of a broad campaign to promote the donation of hematopoietic stem cells “Give life a chance!” Organized by the National Registry of voluntary donors of hematopoietic stem cells (RNDVCSH) and supported by the Ministry of Health.
The objective of this campaign is to raise information and awareness of healthy individuals aged between 18 and 45 years, who can apply to become voluntary donors of hematopoietic stem cells.

Caravan parks this year will be presented in four parks in Bucharest, every day between 14.00-22.00, the following schedule: September 19 to 21 Carol Park – Zodiac Fountain; 22 to 24 September Herastrau – Pavilion H, 25 to 26 September Cişmigiu Park – Walter Mărăcineanu market and 27 to 28 September in the Lumea Copiilor Park – main alee. In these locations will be located “mobile donation center” which consists of a bus “medicalized”. Persons who wish to be informed at their disposal teams of doctors and nurses and are eligible for free testing blood group and Rh, as well as measuring blood pressure, pulse and blood glucose.
